Jillian Landry

Jillian_Feature

Hello S. Sweetly readers! I’m Jillian and I am so honored to have this opportunity to appear on Sydney’s blog! She is so kindhearted and I am so grateful that we have connected! I can tell that she has a servants heart and that she loves to put others first. Sydney has asked that I share a little about myself and why I started a blog. I am so many things! A wife, a mother, a stepmom, a dental hygienist, a Premier Designs jeweler and a fashion blogger. I can come up with a few more things that I do but I’ll spare you. Let’s just say I am never bored.

For years now I have been a blog stalker. Anything from fitness and food to fashion and home decor blogs. I LOVE the blogging world. I actually had a health and fitness blog back in 2012. I had no idea what I was doing along the lines of getting noticed but I had fun and that was all that mattered to me. I had a big life change around the end of that year and got divorced. My fire and a lot of my passions came to a screeching halt throughout that time. I resorted to living vicariously through other bloggers instead of sharing my sad life. I never thought I could do what they do, but I knew I didn’t want to pretend.

Later, I met my husband Eric and we started our beautiful family. True happiness led me to the strong desire to bring my dreams and passions to life. When you find something or someone that makes your soul happy, it drives you to become better. I decided to do everything I could to make my dreams come true. I knew I could do anything I set my mind to. I knew I could be a fashion blogger. I aspire to be a risk taker, to step out in faith and I want the hustle to be worth it.

I am so thankful for my struggles. Every single struggle has brought me to today. I have a story. Something to write about, something to share with others and my one hope through blogging is to help just one person. Whether it’s through a devotion that I’ve shared or a comment that I leave. I hope that women find their true beauty and decide to love themselves despite their insecurities. I pray they know they are made in the Lord’s image and are worth more than rubies.

Fashion is an added bonus to all of it. I have so much fun with photo shoots and styling outfits. Boutiques are starting to notice and I’m headed down a really exciting road. This blogging thing has turned into something that I  am so passionate about. I wake up every day excited to work on my brand. I can only pray that God continues to bless my endeavors in this industry! Thank you so much, Sydney, for letting me share my story with you and your readers!

Joyfully Christiana

Hi there! My name is Christiana, from the JoyfullyChristiana Blog.
It is my desire that others see Jesus in me, and not me in me. I love sharing about Christ’s unfailing love through social media and my blog! I love coffee (probably too much) and you can usually find me making puns or laughing about something. I love to read and am currently obsessing of The Magnolia Story by Chip and Joanna Gaines (every time I see any sort of furniture, house etc. I think about remodeling it haha) and I love nothing more than a good strong cup of coffee and a good book! I’m a little bit on the crazy side, but aren’t we all in some fashion?
I’m the kind of person who will stay up all night even if I have to get up early. I am the world’s worst list maker and literally NEVER have anything written down. I like to live a little spontaneously and I think surprises here and there are just awesome! It makes my life really interesting.
But the main heartbeat of my mission and blog is Jesus, always, only Jesus. In fact, when I first started blogging and “Instagramming”, I wanted my focus to be lifestyle not faith. I wasn’t trying to become a Christian blogger, even though I am a Christian. I was already writing for another Christian blog (and still am, find it here  so I thought, why not make this one about style, lifestyle, etc.
But I just couldn’t. Jesus was always there. In my words, in my heart, in every breath. And so I am unashamed to be a Christian blogger and share Jesus with anyone and everyone who will give me a hot minute to say a word or two about him and his incredible grace! If not for him, I would not be who I am today. I’ve come through a lot that would have dragged me below the surface if Jesus hadn’t had me in his hands, and I refuse to hide him in a dusty little corner.
I guess if I had to put my mission in a nutshell, it would be this: To share what Jesus has done for me, how he’s changed me and made me his, so that others will know the they are not alone, they are not worthless, and that there is purpose in every moment.
I believe in hope and grace and indescribable, reckless love.
So if you’d like, come join me in my little corner of this great big world and we can have coffee and chat about Jesus, if only through a photo. Follow me on Instagram @joyfullychristiana!
You’re loved.
Stay Joyful & Kind!
Christiana
